I am a very satisfied customer of David Wehrheim. I hired him to stain my cedar dark shingle colonial house, he recommended using a light colored stain over the dark shingles, which in the beginning I was very much against the change but I followed his advice , and I could not be more pleased with the results.

David was courteous and always responded in a timely manner each time I would call him. His workmen were conscientious and thorough in their work and their clean up efforts. I highly recommend him.

We first learned of Fairfield County Services about 4 years ago by a recommendation from a friend. My wife and I were moving into a new house in Norwalk and the hardwood floors needed some work so we called David and had him come over to give us a quote. David's personality and professionalism set us at ease right away as he educated us on the options we had with this project. Once we got the quote and realized that the price and schedule met our needs we hired Fairfield County Services and we have been very satisfied ever since.

The work that David and Fairfield County Services did on the hardwood floors made us very comfortable to call them again on other projects. Since the hardwood floors, Fairfield County Services has painted 5 rooms (Family Room, Kitchen, Master Bedroom, Dining Room, and Family Room), painted the exterior of our home, and finished our unfinished, walkout basement. Fairfield County Services really has done a whole range of work from the basics of painting a room to the major construction of finishing our whole basement. Each project has been very competitively and reasonably priced as well as finishing on time and on budget with excellent results. David has always made sure that we are satisfied with the job upon completion and adjusted anything we were concerned with. The job site has always been left in a safe and neat condition during the project and definitely upon completion.

The project of finishing the basement is the biggest project my wife and I have ever hired anyone to do, so it took a lot of planning and David is the one who actually found a way for us to visualize what he was going to do and get the confidence we needed that we had the best layout and design. The basement is now an au pair or nanny suite as well as a pool table and game room for the whole family which we get compliments on almost every time we have people over. My wife was pregnant during this project so timing was very important and, as always, David finished right on time, exactly a week before Easter when we had family visiting and our son was born.

Our relationship with Fairfield County Services started with a referral from a friend since then we have referred many people to Fairfield County Services as well as continually using them ourselves. I plan on maintaining this relationship and working with David for years to come

In early spring 2004 after living in this house for 22 years and putting up with contractors who did not provide the services I paid a fortune for, did not bother to return phone calls, and did no follow up when the job was incorrectly or poorly done, I hired David. That year Fairfield County Services did outside painting, refurbished my deck, sanded and finished all the hardwood floors on the ground floor, and created a beautiful wood cathedral ceiling on my screen porch. The next year I called them again.
They did interior painting in my living and dining rooms, as well as two bedrooms. I had some work done in basement that year as well. In 2006, they did my entire new kitchen--it's amazing!

Among the best features of working with David, Al and their guys, I can list the following: you will receive in writing a completely detailed contract with a start and finish date-- they stick to it! You can leave your home when the men are working -they are respectful and polite. I never come home to a cleanup nightmare. They take care of that. You can discuss options with
David: he has never given me suggestions I lived to regret. During the projects, you will get a call back immediately--communication is ongoing, thereby reducing anxiety and frustration.

I highly recommend you give Fairfiled County Services a call for your next house project.

Thanks for the great job by you and your team on replacing our roof and on the window replacement projects. The roof job in particular was a great effort as your crew faced some pretty brutal weather conditions in order to get job done right. I also wanted to get back to regarding the exterior paint work you did last summer. I was very impressed with the prep work and the attention to detail on smaller issues like re glazing the windows....the outside of the house looks great.
Thanks again for these projects and the other smaller carpentry jobs you have helped us with over the years.....all of it has been a big help.

We have had many jobs completed in our home by Fairfield County Services, ranging from simple (installation of a hanging swing on the front porch and refinishing of the front porch) to complicated (installation of a new bay window and kitchen sliders, gutting and replacement of a damaged wall in the basement). Their work is excellent, and their scheduling reliable. Dave has always been very direct and honest about the extent of work needed to correct the situation, even if that means a smaller job than we had originally considered. Perhaps most importantly, we have found the management and staff to be extremely couteous and helpful, explaining the work every step of the way and always remaining considerate of our needs (as a young family). We would highly recommend Fairfield County Services to anyone needing consistent and dependable services!

I have contracted Fairfield County Services for all of my needs and improvements on my home and several rental properties for the past eight years.

As a homeowner for many years I am always skeptical about the schedule and quality of the work that is promised. However, the work performed by David Wehrheim and his crew lived up to its promise 100%. My house was beautifully painted by an efficient and considerate crew that always arrived on time and worked each day in such a professional manner that my work was never disturbed.
